  • District of Oregon (503) 727-1000

PORTLAND, OR—David Patrick Kennedy, 41, and Christina Marie Allen, 30, both of Portland, were sentenced today following their pleas of guilty to knowingly providing a firearm to a convicted felon. United States District Court Judge Michael W. Mosman sentenced Kennedy to 90 months' incarceration and Allen to four years of probation. On August 10, 2009, Kennedy and Allen both pled guilty to the charge of providing a firearm, a .357 caliber revolver, to an individual they knew to be a convicted felon. The firearm was stolen and was transferred in Portland on December 5, 2007. Following a lengthy investigation, Kennedy and Allen were indicted by a federal grand jury on August 5, 2008, for the firearms offense. The pair was arrested shortly thereafter and Kennedy has been in federal custody since that time. Allen has been on pre-trial release since the time of her arrest. In August of 2009, while Kennedy was in custody, Kennedy and Allen were married.

Court records include testimony that Kennedy was the founding member of the white supremacist prison gang known as European Kindred (EK).

This case was investigated by the Metro Gang Task Force which at the time consisted of agents and officers from the FBI, ATF, Portland Police Bureau, Vancouver Police Department, Gresham Police Department, Milwaukie Police Department, Beaverton Police Department, and the Hillsboro Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Fred Slaughter and Fred Weinhouse.
