In 2006, Mr. Smith became the supervisory senior resident agent of the Cleveland Division’s Toledo, Sandusky, and Lima Resident Agencies. In this capacity, Mr. Smith was responsible for the FBI’s resources and counterterrorism investigations in 19 counties surrounding the three offices. Mr. Smith also supervised a Joint Terrorism Task Force in Toledo.
